The Project
A fully reimagined Brooklyn brownstone in the heart of Clinton Hill — where historic character meets contemporary design sensibility.
This residence was conceived as a thoughtful evolution of classic Brooklyn architecture, preserving original proportions and architectural detail while introducing modern refinement and livability.
Developed in close collaboration between ownership, architects, engineers, and skilled craftsmen, the home reflects a deliberate balance between preservation and innovation.
At its center is a custom chef’s kitchen designed as both a functional workspace and a gathering place — clean-lined cabinetry, integrated appliances, natural stone surfaces, and warm wood finishes.
White oak millwork flows throughout the residence, grounding the interiors with texture and warmth. Bathrooms were envisioned as calm, restorative environments, thoughtfully proportioned with stone and custom vanities.
Historic brownstone elements were restored and respected — original moldings, structural character, and scale remain intact — offering a rare blend of heritage and modernity within one of Brooklyn’s most vibrant neighborhoods.
